Standardized Operating Procedure for Purchasers of Real Estate Pursuant to Real Property Law §442-H

Pursuant to Real Property Law § 442-H, RentOwnSell, LLC (hereafter "RentOwnSell") is making these Standardized Operating Procedures (hereafter "SOP's") available to the public. Upon request, a hard copy is available at RentOwnSell LLC physical office locations.

RentOwnSell Real Estate SOP's are as follows:

  • RentOwnSell does not require prospective buyers to show photo identification.
  • RentOwnSell does not require exclusive buyer representation agreements.
  • RentOwnSell does not require a pre-approval for a mortgage loan.

While RentOwnSell does not require prospective buyers to show photo identification or provide a pre-approval to work with RentOwnSell, in certain situations a property seller, property developer, property sponsor, or other listing agents may require photo identification and/or a pre-approval prior to showing the property or as part of the purchase offer. In these situations, RentOwnSell will inform the prospective buyers of these requirements as necessary.
